The following is the personnel: Mr. E. Page, S.M. (Wellington), Mr. J. Hunter (Superintendent of the Taupiri Coal Company), Air. William Balderstone (secretary of the West Coast Miners' Council). It is expected that the sitting will Commence at the end of next week. The report is to be in by June 20 The order of reference is a wide one. embracing the nature and character and general operation of the mine, with special reference to safety, explosives, ventilation, and lighting.
