p r . J. C. Bradshaw, upon the completion of 25 years’ service as organist ind choirmaster at the Christchurch Cathedral, was entertained at a complimentary dinner last evening. The Bishop of Christchurch, Dr. WestWatson, presided over an attendance of 100. The Chief Justice, Sir Charles Skerrett. who has been presiding at the Auckland sessions of the Supreme Court, leaves for Wellington on the 7.10 p.m. Limited this evening. He will be replaced by his Honour Mr. Justice Reed, who will arrive on Tuesday. Dr. W. H. Parkes left for the South by the Limited last evening. Mr. Kalil and party, of Ohura, have arrived in Auckland, and are staying at the Albert Hotel. Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, Mayor of Te Kuiti, arrived in Auckland by motor-car, and is staying at l.e Hotel Cargen. Mr. H. C. Robjohn. of Hawke's Bay, arrived in Auckland by the Limited this morning, and is staying at the Royal Hotel. Mr. W. Rootes, of Bootes’ Motors, Limited, England, has arrived in Auckland, and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Among the passengers who left Auckland by the Limited express last night for Wellington was Mr. William Wallace, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board. HOTEL REGISTER Grand. —Mr. H.
