COMING FRIDAY Since the days of Wallace Reid there has been a keen shortage of fast-mov-ing films, and audiences are deploring the lack. Recently, however, a new star has blazed forth with a series of pictures which have more speed to the film foot than the late lamented Wally ever dreamed of. The player is Frank Merill, world-renowned athlete, whose latest picture, “The Fighting Doctor," will be shown at Everybody’s Theatre on Friday. This Hercules production starts with a crash and ends with an explosion—and all along the line things happen so quickly that one gasp ot astonishment is smothered with another. Stunts, thrills, danger, a thrilling rescue, a strenuous gang ight, a realistic wrestling match, a glorious speed-boat race—one after another they flash on to a stupendous climax. Interwoven in the plot is a 'ove story worthy of the action. This is a picture experts have declared to be “the fastest film ever made ”
