A “BLUE” TEST
Laundry that has been blued” too much is as unattractive as that which has received too little. A sure test for blue water is to take a little in the palm oC the hand It should then show skv-blue. Some materials absorb more . lue than ethers. This is specially true of Turkish towellings, terry materials and fine muslins. Golden syrup used in a pudding will serve the purpose of sugar, eggs and milk, and will keep the pudding moist. Milk will not turn sour if a teaspoon of salt is added to every quart.
