WAIPAHI SAILS THURSDAY— The Union Company advises that the fruit steamer Waipalii leaves Auckland at noon, on Thursday for Rarotonga. Mangaia, Atiu and Aitutaki. HAURAKI COMING. —CabIe advice received by the Union Company states that the motor ship Hauraki cleared San Francisco at 10.30 p.m. on Friday last for Auckland, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. She is due here about June 21. POOLTA FROM SYDNEY. —From Sydney the Union Company’s cargo steamer Poolta is due at Auckland on Friday, and after discharge here she proceeds to Gisborne and Napier. KARTIGI DUE THURSDAY. —En route from Sydney, via Suva and Lautoka, the Union Company advises that the steamer Kurtiki arrives at Auckland on Thursday, find after discharge liere she proceeds to Portland to load cement for New Plymouth and the West Coast. CANADIAN BRITISHER DELAYED. —The Canadian Britisher did not leave Wellington yesterday as projected. She is now expected to sail this afternoon for Auckland, where she is due on Friday morning. The vessel, which has been discharging a cargo from Halifax at Southern ports, and loading for the return trip, will complete her loading here. The local office of the Canadian Government Mercantile Marine expects to despatch the Canadian Britisher on Saturday night for New York, Boston and Montreal. THE PACIFIC TRANSPORT. —In continuation of her voyage from Nauru Island, Henderson and Macfarlane ad vises that the steamer Pacific Transport leaves Lyttelton for Port Chalmers and Bluff. HI NEMO A FOR NIUE. Messrs. Spedding, Limited, advises that cargo will be received on Saturday and Monday for the Government steamer Hinemoa, which is scheduled to leave Auckland at 5 p.m. on Tuesday for Niue Island. The vessel is at present en route from Norfolk Island to Auckland, where she is due about Saturday or Sunday. ARAWA POSTPONED.— Messrs L. D. Nathan and Company have been advised that the steamer Arawa, at pre sent loading at Port Chalmers, later proceeds to Timaru, Wanganui and Wellington to 1111 up, and is now scheduled to sail finally from Wellington at daybreak on June 15 for Southampton and London, via Monte Video and Teneriffe. TAIROA’S ITINERARY. Advice has been received by Messrs. A. S Paterson and Company that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tairoa berthed at Opua at 8 o’clock this morning to commence her loading. She is to leave Opua on Thursday for New Plymouth, thence Wagnanui and Wellington to complete and sails finally from the latter port on June 18 for London, via Monte Video and Tene riffe. PACIFIC COAST SAILINGS. —CabIe advice received by Henderson and Macfarlane advises the following pro jected sailings from the Pacific Coast to New Zealand ports: The West Henshaw leaves Los Angeles on June 14 for Auckland, Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, and is due here on July 9. The Bearport clears Los Angeles on July 9 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Brisbane and arrives about August 3. PORT AUCKLAND DUE TO-MOR-ROW. —To continue her loading under the auspices of the Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Auctioneering Co., the C. and D. Line steamer Port Auckland left New Plymouth this morning for Auckland, where she is due to-morrow. it is hoped to dispatch her on Thursday evening or Friday morning for Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, Wellington and Wanganui, to complete loading. She 4s scheduled to clear Wanganui finally oil June 16 for London via Panama.

ULIMAROA AT WELLINGTON.— The Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa arrived at Wellington at 11 o’clock this morning from Sydney. She sails again on Thursday on her return trip and on arrival at the New South Wales port the Ulimaroa withdraws from the intercolonial service for one trip to undergo her annual overhaul and survey. AUCKLAND-GISBORNE-NAPIER-SERVICE.—On account of the steadily decreasing passenger traffic between Auckland, Gisborne and Napier, the Union Company have advised that they have chartered the Anchor S.S. Co.’s steamer Waimea to replace the Wainui in the above trade. The Waimea will not carry passengers. It is expected that the Waimea will commence running on Tuesday next from Auckland. VESSELS DOCKING. —The cable steamer Iris is to come out of dock on Saturday. She will be replaced in the clock on Monday by the Union Company’s steamer Maheno, which is coming from Wellington to relieve the Maunganui in the intercolonial passenger and cargo service. THE CITY OF KHARTOUM.-An expected arrival about Saturday is the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer City of Khartoum from New York. She is reported to have cleared Panama on May 9. Her cargo of case oil and general merchandise is for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, "Dunedin, Bluff and Beauty Point, Tasmania. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. CUNARD LINE’S GOOD YEAR.— The report and account of the Cunarcl Steamship Company, Ltd., for the 12 months ending December 31 last are now available. The shareholders are to be congratulated on the fact that, notwithstanding the coal strike and the additional expenditure resulting from it, the company has been able to show a higher net profit, which enables the directors to recommend the payment of a dividend of 6 per cent, against 5 per cent in each of the three preceding years, and for the first time for a long while the transfer of £IOO,OOO to reserve, increasing that fund to £1,350,000. AUSTRALIND S.S. CO. BUYS YOIVIAH. —The Australind Steamship Company, Ltd., (Trinder, Anderson, and Co.) has purchased the motor vessel Yomah, which is a new vessel, having been completed last year for the Henderson Line, of Glasgow. She is of 5,000 tons gross register, and is 400 feet in length, 52 feet 6 inches in width, and 31ft in depth. The Australind Steamship Company, Ltd., owns the steamers Atholl, 4,647 tons, Australind, 4,392 tons, and the Totara, 402 tons. The Yomah has arrived at Antwerp, from 'a trip to Australia. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE— The following vessels are expected to be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations to-night:— Auckland. —Poolta, Kaituna, Antonio, Norfolk, Enton, Kartigi, Skegness, Scopas, Maryland, H.M.S. Diomede, City of Lyons, Port Auckland, H.M.S. Veronica. Chatham Islands. —Canadian Pioneer, Mamari, E.R. Sterling. Wellington. —Mararoa, Wahine, Ngaio, Arahura, Tamahine, Corinthic, Sussex, Kaitangata, Waiotapu, Makura, Raranga, Kauri, Canadian Britisher. Awarua. —Pacific Transport, Karori. PORT OF ONEHUNGA— Departures To-day. RARAWA 17 a.m.), 1,077 tons, Bark, for New Plymouth. NGATIAWA (7.30 a.m.), 451 tons. Pert, for Raglan, Kawliia, and "Waikato Heads. Rough seas on the West Coast yesterday rendered the Manukau bar unworkable, and prevented the Rarawa and Ngatiawa from sailing. The Rarawa left this morning for t New Plymouth. She is due back at 7.30 a.ni. to-morrow. The Ngatiawa left this morning for Raglan, Kawhia, and Pori. ‘Waikato, and is . expected back at 6 a :n. on Thursday. The Arapawa is due on Friday from Westport with a cargo of coal for discharge at Onehunga. The Anchor Shipping and Foundry Company’s steamer Alexander will arrive at Onehunga to-morrow morning from Nelson to load for the South. She is scheduled to sail on Thursday morning for Nelson and West Coast ports.
