Intensely thrilling situations abound in the story of “Simon The Jester,” a superb P.D.C. prodLiction which is being released by First National shortly, featuring Eugene O’Brien and Lillian Rich. The story deals with a wealthy Englishman who on being advised by his physician that owing to a shrapnel sliver near his heart he has only a few weeks to live, resigns himself to death. He gives away much of his wealth and seeks to have his secretary break his love affair with Lola Brandt, a circus rider, and wed a girl in whom he is interested. This brings about a series of thrilling happenings which ends in Simon falling in love with Lola. Edmund Burns, Henry B. Walthall and William Platt are in the supporting cast. A complete circus is a feature of this picture.
