HOGARTH TO PRESENT-DAY British Wireless. — Copyright. Reed. TO a.m. LONDON, Sunday. Under the Auspices of the AngloAustrian Society, it is proposed to hold in Vienna this autumn a representative exhibition of English paintings, from Hogarth down to the present day. The King has conveyed his good wishes for the success of the scheme and Sir Austen Chamberlain. Foreign Secretary, has expressed the hope that owners of pictures, who may be approached for loans, will respond generously, so as to make the collection as representative and as high in quality as possible.—A. and N.Z.
