FIRE BRIGADE SITE Press Association. DUNEDIN, Monday. The Compensation Court—his Honour Mr. Justice Reed, president, and Mr. C. R. Smith and Mr. E. C. Reynolds, assessors—sat this morning to resume hearing the claim by Isabella McMillan against the Dunedin Fire Board for £3,500, as compensation for her property in Castle Street, which is being taken as a site for the new fire brigade station. Judgment was given for the complainant for £2,800, and costs £3l 10s, and each assessor’s fee £2l. The respondent’s assessor dissented from the award.
