BONNET CARE

TT is something of a fag to wipe rain drops off the bonnet of your car when you arrive home late at night. But leave them there, and nasty spots will result. The heat of the engine and the cold of the rain are the joint cause. With a clean chamois leather remove rain drops before they dry. Old stains can be removed by applying and gentle rubbing a little boiled linseed oil with a very soft cloth. Do not do this very often; too frequent an application will affect the varnish.
