Public notice is hereby given that the following resolution, passed at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council, convened and held for that purpose on THURSDAY, the 12th day of May, 1927, and intended to operate as a Special Order, will come up for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Auckland City Council, to be held on THURSDAY, the 9th June, 1927, in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Auckland, at 7 o’clock p.m., viz : “In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 15S of the ‘Muncipal Corporations Act, 1920,’ the Body Corporate called the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the City of Auckland, hereby resolve by way of Special Order to accept a surrender as from the 9th day of June. 1927, of a certain deed of lease dated sth February, 1916, of Lot 26 of Allotments 1,2 and 3, of Section 50, City of Auckland, situate in Barrie Street, originally held by Rhoda Elizabeth Hardley, and now vested by assignment in Jessie Crowley, and to pay to the said Jessie Crowley the sum of £615 for improvements on the land comprised in the said lease.” J.
