PONSONBY MAN WINS £lo PRIZE
SUN S COMPETITION OVER 10,000 ENTRIES The SUN’S big football competition continues to grow in popularity. This week the entries passed the 10,000 mark. The winner for this week is Mr. C. C. Beuth, of 55 Oliphant Street, ponsonby. Mr. Beuth not only forecasted the draw in the Soccer competition, between Ponsonby and Y.M. c A the first draw of the season in the senior Association games—but all his other results were absolutely correct. It is evident as the season progresses that competitors are getting very dose to the form of the different teams. No fewer than 66 competitors had 11 out of the 12 results correct. The competition will be continued as usual this week, but owing to the Association football fixtures not being available until the meeting of the A.F.A. management committee tomorrow night, the coupon will not be published until Wednesday evening.
