The New Zealand Loan and Mer-.-an- j tile Agency Coy., Ltd., report: We held j a clearing sale at Tokanui, near Kihikihi, on account of -Mr P. O’Reilly, on Friday, when notwithstanding a heavy downpour of rain, there was a large attendance of buyers, and the dairy herd | of 80 cows sold exceptionally well. Cows i due to calve at early factory dates rea- I lised from £lO to £l6; later calvers, i 0 to £9; springing heifers, £7 5s to £lO- - heifer calves, £2 10s to £3; empty and j unsound cows, £2 10s to £5. The pedigree Jersey bull. Cowslip’s Noble, realised 30 guineas. Farm horses made £l4 10s to £ls 15s; breeding sows, £3 j 1 10s to £4 ss; weaner pigs, 12s to 19s. i
