OLD WANGANUI RESIDENT

DEATH OF MR. WATT (Special to THE SUN.) MARTON, To-day. Death has severed another link in the chain of old identities in Rangitikei in the person of Mr. T. T. Watt, son of the late William Hogg Watt, member for Wanganui in 1882-84. He was educated at the old Wanganui Grammar School, Canterbury' College and Cambridge, England. He was in business for many years in Marton before taking up farming. He was a first-class amateur horseman and rode many horses to victory both on the flat and over hurdles. He was also clerk of the scales for the Marton J ■ ' 1 LnL : nn ny years.
