MAORI BOY DROWNED
Dan Ti Iveta, a Maori boy, aged three years, was drowned in a stream at Pakotai yesterday afternoon. The lad was playing on the edge of the creek with his younger brother when he fell into the water and was borne away. A smaller boy informed the parents of the mishap, but when they arrived the victim was out of sight.
