REFEREE REINSTATED SUSPENSION NOT JUSTIFIED (Special to THE SUN.) WANGANUI, Friday. Mr R. P. London, the Rugby referee, was chosen by the principal of the Technical College last year to referee the school game with Te Aute College. The Referees’ Association had selected another referee whose services for the afternoon match were not accepted. The Referees’ Association therefore disqualified London and the local subunion endorsed the disqualification. The matter hung on until the Wanganui Rugby Union appealed to the New Zealand Rugby Union and the matter is now settled by the latter body deciding that London did nothing to warrant disqualification or suspen-
