COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Cumberland leaves Lyttelton today for Dunedin to land the balance of her Liverpool cargo. The Rotorua left Lyttelton this morning for Bluff and Auckland and is due here on June 6 to complete her discharge of London cargo. The Persian Prince, in continuation of her voyage from Texas, left Auckland yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton, New Plymouth and Wanganui. The Port Hardy is due at Port Chalmers on Sunday from Auckland and leaves next Wednesday for New Plymouth. The West Carmona left Dunedin last evening for Melbourne where she completes her discharge of Pacific Coast cargo. The Tongariro sailed from Bluff this morning for Lyttelton and Wellington to fill up for Home. The Kaponga left Portland at 1 p.m. yesterday for Newcastle, where she loads for Wellington. The Kurow is now loading cement 'at Portland for Wellington and Lyttelton, and is expected to complete on Monday. The Waipiata arrived this morning from Southern ports and after discharge proceeds to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru on Monday next. The Katoa arrived at Dunedin at 6 a.m. yesterday and leaves there this afternoon for Auckland, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Kaituna is due to arrive here tomorrow from Adelaide, Melbourne and Hobart, via Southern ports. The Kaitangata loads at Greymouth to-morrow for Wellington, Gisborne, Auckland, and Portland. The Coronation sails to-morrow for Awanui North. The Elsie Mary was to leave last night for Gisborne, but trouble with the engines prevented her from clearing port. She will sail as soon as weather permits. The Tiroa is expected back from Gisborne about Monday next. The Isabella de Fraine, due from Hokianga during the week-end is scheduled to sail on Tuesday next on the return trip. The auxiliary scow Scot is scheduled to sail for Waipu on Monday. The Richardson steamer Pakura is to relieve the Putiki next week. She is due from East Coast ports on Monday and will sail at 6 p.m. the next day for Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne and Waikokopu. The Awahou will complete her overhaul in about a week’s time, and resume running on the East Coast route. The Mako will arrive in about a week’s time from East Coast ports, and will then probably go on slip for annual overhaul and survey. The tug Hikuranga sailed for Whangarei last night with the scow Ethel Wells in tow. The Apanui was to sail at noon today for Totara North, Houhora, Ivaimaumau and Parenga. The Matangi, sailing at 7 o’clock this evening for Tauranga, is due back at 7 a.m. on Sunday. The Rangitoto was to leave for Thames at 10.30 a v m. to-day and returns at 7 p.m. to-morrow. The Omana sailing at 6.30 p.m. to-day for Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha, is expected back at 8.45 a.m. to-morrow. The Taniwha, due from Paeroa at 11.30 p.m. to-day, sails on the return trip at 9 p.m. on Sunday. The Hauiti arriving from Coromandel at 8.30 p.m. to-day, sails for Waiheke at 1.45 p.m. to-morrow. The Kawau, leaving at 8 a.m. to-mor-row for Waiwera, Mahurangi, and Warkworth is expected back at 9 o’clock the same day.
The Waipu due from Kerepeehi at 10 a.m. to-morrow sail on the return trip at 11 p.m. on Monday.
The Claymore, arriving from Whangarei at 3.30 a.m. to-morrow, sails again for the same port at 7 p.m. on Sunday. The Gunbar due here about Thursday next from East Coast ports sails the same day on the return trip.
