Chester Conklin spent an uncomfortable day inside a wooden chest while filming “A Kiss in a Taxi,” Bebe Daniel’s next Paramount production. As a down-trodden secretary, the wal-rus-moustached comedian is the object of a wild chase during the farce’s closing sequence.
As soon as William Powell finishes his sophisticated villain role in “Tim s to Love,” Raymond Griffith’s next Paramount picture, he will do another of the same kind in the Richard Dix picture tentatively called, “Who’s Your Friend?”
