UNFAVOURABLE TRADE BALANCE IN CANADA

Speaking at the Canadian Club’s Empire Day luncheon, Sir James Parr called attention to the fact that Canada’s trade balance was unfavourable to New Zealand. He believed that Mr. Coates had taken the matter up personally and he personally urged the Canadian Trade Minister to visit New Zealand with a view to remedying the balance. —A. and N.Z.
