A MILLION AND A-HALF

FORTUNE AWAITS OWNER RIVAL CLAIMANTS Three people are endeavouring to establish a claim to a fortune of a milion and a half-pounds. One of them is Mr. Alfred Davis, of Summerhill Hoad, Tottenham (London), who is well known in the music-hall business. The money, according to Mr. Davis, was left over a hundred years ago by Thomas Hall, stated to be a knight, who left valuable business property in Manchester. The other two claimants are Amelia Pinkerton, 81, of Sydney, Australia, and Mrs. Scully, of Vancouver. Mr. Davis is getting into touch with the Australian authorities.
