BUSINESS DURING APRIL The folio Win); particulars of the loan transaction of the Public Trust Office and new business reported during the month ended April 30, 1927, have been • upplied by the Right Hon. the Prime llinister: Mew loans amounting; to £182,505 Were completed during the month. Further new' loans amounting to '£ 130,965 were granted, making the total of new loans on hand awaiting completion £5 53,373. to which must be added the offers of loans less than the full amount applied for. These amount to £208.412, making a grand total of £771,785. There are also applications on hand for additional loans, amounting to £305,936. New estates of a total of £483,852 were accepted for administration during the month. The number of wills held for safe custody on behalf of living testators was increased by the deposit of an additional 412 wills, making the total now held 53,873.
