WELLINGTON PRICES The New Zealand Loan an-1 Mercantile Company, Limited, report on a furred skin sale held in Wellington on May 19, as follows: Of the total catalogue we offered 75 per cent., and our lots met with very keen competition, howing a big increase on our last sale, and the prices realised were slightly better than those ruling at last Dunedin sales For winters 1293 d was recorded, and this must be taken as an excellent prospect for future sales.
Some of the prices obtained for well "got-up” skins were: Runners and suckers, 16Ad to 30d; light racks, 44d to 46Jd; summers, 31Jd to 33 id; heavy racks, 42Jd to 46d; (lawny autumns, Slid to 52id; autumns, 56Jd to 7S}d; earl'autumns, 68d to 69Jd; late autumns, 77d to 91 |d; incoming winters, 104 d to lOSci; early winter bucks, 114|d to 120 d; early winter does, 106 d; first bucks, 1293 d; first does, 1063 d; spotted winters 9b|usummer blacks, 38|d: autumn blacks! 68|d to 85d; incoming blacks, 99d; early blacks, 102 d: winter blacks, llOid; winter hare skins, 36d to 39d.
