WAIHIS STILL SELLING OTHER MINING WEAK Waihis continue to meet with a steady sale aLISs, but other mining stocks are depressed and weak. Two small parcels of Kawaraus passed at the mid-day call for 2s 9d and 2s 7d. To-day’s quotations have registered a withdrawal of buyers for Government and local body bonds, with an increase in sellers, though several parcels have been dealt with and the market remains firm. The timber section continues weak. In Banks, New Zealand’s have hardened leaving the market to-day with sellers asking £3 Is 6d and buyers offering £3 0s 9d.
