SOME IDEAS ABOUT THE NEW “LITTLE” COATS

If bought ready to wear, house coatees can be admirably “distinguished” by the application of a patterning of coarse wool embroidery, and an edging of narrow fur to their collars. Suede sports coats are charming when given cuffs and revers of embossed suede in the same shade. An advantage of our liking for posing one’s filmy coat over a frock of different colour is that we can ring the changes well with the same outfit. The combination of velveteen coat and cloth or tweed skirt is once more to the fashionable fore. The coats are usually cut with loose narrow sleevs that end in the same width at the wrists; the revers are not very long, the pockets are slit, and a silk binding is introduced wherever possible.
