RIDING COMPETITION The competition between the various ridings in the county at the recent Winter Show was finally judged yesterday, the first three awards being as follow:
Wairua Riding, 576 points l Waipu Riding, 261 J points 2 Manaia Riding, 108 i points 3 The competition was for the riding gaining collectively the greatest number of points in the competition classes (school section excepted). The prize-money was: First, £10: second, £5; third, £2 10s.
