SIR WILLIAM HALL-JONES HAS HIGH PRAISE FOR THE SUN
Congratulations on Saturday’s issue of THE SUN were offered by the Hon. Sir William Hall - Jones, K.C.M.G., M.L.C., last evening. Sir William said that he had com pared the evening papers and he considered that THE SUN was easily the superior. It contained news of a big hotel scheme for the city, which he could not find elsewhere, and also a more comprehensive account of the Prime M? 'ter’s toi *. An article by the ader of the Opposition, Mr. Hoiland. was interesting; and it showed that the newspaper was exercising its rights as an independent journal.
