CANTERBURY SOCCER SECOND CLUB WITHDRAWS Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. A serious charge was brough: against a referee at last night's meet ifig of the Canterbury Football As so ciation. A deputation from the Thistle Cluk waited on the association, anti al leged that P. Mitchell, who refereec the club’s game with Nomads last Saturday (when Nomads won), was biassed towards Western, was incom petent, and dismissed a player wrong fully. After hearing the statements, the committee decided to reprimand the player. The Thistle Club then handed J n its resignation forthwith from the association.
