Takes 100 Shares in N.Z. Cricket, Ltd.—The secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council has received an application from Dr. R. J. Pope, world traveller and noted cricket enthusiast, for 100 shares in N.Z. Cricket, Limited, accompanied by a cheque for £lO2 10s to cover cost of shares, plus exchange. Dr. Pope visited New Zealand with Maclaren’s team four years ago, and as an appreciation cf the many courtesies extended to himself and the M.C.C. team, has expressed a desire to help in the financing of the New Zealand team.
