THREATENED TO SHOOT
MAN FINED FOR DRUNKENNESS
George Sutton, aged 45, was very rude when he caught an elderly man by the shoulder in Fort Street yesterday and threatened to shoot him. “Of course he was drunk,” said the witness.
Sutton apologised profusely from the dock; but that didn’t excuse him the 5s fine for being drunk, nor did it save him 20s, which he had to pay for his threatening behaviour.
