AUCKLAND ACCIDENTS
FALL FROM A HOUSE WOMAN INJURED Numerous accidents through the week-end are again reported. This week none of them are of a very serious nature. Falling from the wall of a house that he was erecting, Mr. Edward Molr, of Green Lane, received injuries to the head. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where this morning he was said to be doing well. Through being knocked down by a motor-cycle on the Great South Road yesterday afternoon, Miss Maud Niali of Massey Road, Manurewa, was admitted to the hospital suffering from injuries to the head. This morning her condition was reported as slightly better.
Suffering from injuries to tlie head, a little boy, Allan Williams, aged eight years, was admitted to- the hospital last evening. His parents who reside at 12 Airedale Street, do not know how he received his injuries, but it is assumed that he fell while playing. While working on the steamer Port Hardy, Mr. Alfred Whittaker, aged 57, of Jutland Road, Takapuna, received injuries to his ankle. Mr. Whittaker was superintending the unloading of a heavy case when it fell on his foot breaking his ankle. He was taken to the hospital, where his condition this morning was said to be slightly improved. Through his bicycle skidding, a schoolboy, Eric Prosser, was thrown heavily to the ground and received injuries to the hip. He was taken to his home, 32a King’s View Road, Mount Eden, by the St. John’s Ambulance. He was reported this morning to be doing well.
