A HOOTING TRAIN OF MOTORS

The completed concrete surface of the Great South Koad is making a strong appeal to weekend motorists. This was exemplified on Sunday In a striking manner. A Buick car went off the concrete and became embedded in the mud alongside. Another car pulled up abreast, thus completely blocking the road. In no time there were over 160 cars held up, both north and south of the mishap. The din raised by impatient motorists on their various warning devices would have turned a Jazz Band green with envy. Eventually they won response to their appeals and continued the journey.
