N.Z. HORSE KILLED RIDER INJURED By Cable. — Press Association.—Copyright SYDNEY, Sunday. The hurdle race at Tattersall’s meeting at Randwick yesterday created a sensation. Several horses fell, and the New Zealand gelding Knighthood was killed. Ashridge, rider of Knighthood, sustained concussion of the brain and other injuries when his mount fell. Two other jockeys were hurt, but their injuries were only of a slight character.—A. and N.Z.
