LIBRARY CONCERTS
PARNELL The opening concert of the Parnell Library course has been arranged by Miss Maida Hooker and Miss Berta Carr for to-morrow night. May 24. The programme is rich in variety, comprising vocal solos and duets, piano and cello solos, instrument"’ trios and elocutionary recitals. • artistes taking part in the programme are Mrs. Robertson, Misses Lloyd, Cecilia Duncan. Doris Messer, Myra Monk. Pat McLeod, Nellie Simpson, Messrs. Ernest Snell, Norman Watson, Arthur Reid. Hugh Woods. Miss Maida Hooker i:s the accompanist. Course tickets are obtainable at all city libraries and Queen Street bookshops.
