“A SUN COUPON?”
During the Parnell - Richmond League game piayed at Carlaw Park last Saturday, a Parnell man crossed the line and it appeared that he had scored. However Referee Simpson held a different view and disallowed it owing to a knock-on. It was evidently a fair try from the point of view of a hillside wag, who yelled: “Have you got a coupon in THE SUN’S competition, Ref.?”
