BREWERY SHARES AT PAR
A NEW ISSUE Brewery shares are probably the most popular form of investment in the Dominion to-day, and it is seldom that an opportunity of purchasing them at par is presented. Investors will therefore welcome the issue of shares being made in connection with the flotation of Consolidated Brewery, Ltd., a company now being formed to take over as a going concern the existing business of the Tlawk Brewery Company in Napier. The capital of the company is £30,000, and the purchase price of the Hawk Company’s business—£ls,ooo— less than an independent valuation of the actual property itself. Actually only £IO,OOO in cash is to be paid to the vendors, the balance of £5,000 remaining on mortgage. The new company must have ample funds with which to thoroughly develop the markets in Auckland and Wellington for the company’s products, which are Hawk XXXX Ale, Hawk Double Stout and Hawk Invalid Stout. Excellent arrangements have been made for distributing the lines in the main centres, and the distribution will be in the hands of Burns, Philp and Co., Ltd., Auckland, and Ellis and Manton, Ltd., Wellington. Full particulars are contained in the prospectus, copy of which may be had from the Organising Brokers. W. A. Horne, Ltd., Horne’s Building. Auckland. Write or call for your copy NOW.—. 9
