FAIRY MUSIC

I love the fairy music That runs along the grass, And sounds like tinkling cymbals In the sorrel as I pass. It murmurs in the streamlet; Its haunting melody Is heard by every buttercup And hummed by every bee. In hazel-bush and bramble Its echoes you will find; . It drifts upon the summer air Like petals in the wind. 1 love the fairy music That whispers all day long, And wafts me off to sleep at night On wings of coloured song.
