THE ROSE AND THE DEW

This little poem has been arranged from one written by a very young Sunbeam, Molly Antunovich, Helens - ville. Molly has a striking poetic sense for a child of eight. I wish I were a snow-white rose On yonder garden wall; And you the gift of silver dew That with the eve would fall. Down on my snow-white bosom. You would lay your drowsy head. And there we both would sleep all night Until the dark had fled.
