CHORAL SOCIETY

HAYDN’S CREATION Haydn’s inspired “Creation” which will be given by the Auckland Choral Society at the Town Hall on Thursday evening next, will be noteworthy in that it will introduce to the public of Auckland the brilliant young Palmerston North soprano Miss Naomi Whalley, who is regarded as one of the most promising sopranos that the Dominion has produced. The tenor will be Mr. Birrell O’Malley, and the bass Mr. A. G. Colledge. A strong choir and orchestra will be under the direction of Mr. Colin Muston. The box plan for subscribers opens at the Town Hall at 7.30 a.m. on Monday and for non-subscribers on Tuesday at the E. and F. Piano Agency Co., Ltd.
