SCHOOL RECORDS

ACCESS GRANTED (Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The question of Bible-in-Schools did not arouse any discussion at to-day’s meeting of the Canterbury Education Board, when it was brought before that body by a report from the Appointments’ Committee that a letter had been received from the Educational Institute suggesting that the board should decline to give outside organisations access to school records.. It was resolved to reply that the board had dealt with the subject already. The report was adopted. The board’s previous decision was to give permission to representatives of the league to obtain information subject to the convenience of head teachers.
