A manufacturing firm has received an order for 1,000,000 cans of from one to 201 b. capacity, for the New Zealand butter trade. There are three different designs and colours for cans which are specially differentiated for export to the Orient, South America, or the South Sea Islands. The cans will be manufactured complete in Vancouver, but sealed in New Zealand by a special machine, to be sent from here for that purpose. —A. and N.Z.
