TRAMCAR DASHES DOWN PRUSSIAN HILLSIDE
SIX WOMEN KILLED BOY TAMPERS WITH A BRAKE By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright BERLIN, Thursday. A shocking tragedy was caused at Cassel, in Prussia, by a boy tampering with the brake of a crowded tramcar in the absence of the driver. The car dashed down a hill, and crashed Into an iron scaffolding. It then capsized into a ditch. The passengers were pinned beneath the overturned car, and nine of them, including six women, were killed. Eleven persons were seriously injured, and many others were slightly hurt. —A. and N.Z.-Sun.
