OTAHUHU ORPHANS

The 1927 season was opened by ‘he Otahuhu Orphans on Tuesday evening. There was a large attendant- * and Mr. A. B. Whyte occupied the chair. A capital programme was arranged Among the visitors were Mr. j. Crawford, secretary of the parent club. Auckland; Mr. E. V. Sutherland, president. Mr. C. A. Osborne, secretary, of the Onehunga club; Mr. F. Farrell, president, and Mr. A. Hankin, secretary, of the Pukekohe club: Mr. H. D. Boles, president of the Birken-head-Xortlicote club; the Rev. W. Wood, president, and Mr. Anderson, secretary, of the Papakura club: and members of the Devonport, Takapuna and Hamilton clubs and the Taumarunui Savage Club.
