DEVONPORT BOROUGH
MEETING OF COUNCIL The Devonport Borough Council met last evening, the mayor, Mr. E. Aldridge wearing the recently-donated mayoral chain. It was decided not to depart from the decision of the council not to per mit hoardings in the main street. The Domain Board's receipts for the year were £1,161, of which rents from houses accounted for £497.
