About 100 members of the Otar General Labourers’ Union arr present unemployed, and at meeting to-day it was decided th: if the negotiations which are be ing made at present for relief are unsuccessful, the men will go to the police station in a body and demand food and shelter. Until a conference of local bodies is held next Wednesday, however, the men will take no action.
