WORLD’S SMALLEST BOOK

What is claimed to be the smallest book in the world, Schloss’s English Bijou Almanac for 1843, was sold at Sotheby’s, London, for £5 10s. It measures seven-eighths of an inch by half an inch, and is illustrated by Miss Mitford, and provided with a miniature reading glass. Some experts consider the book to be the smallest ever printed, while others claim that there are copies of the Scriptures even smaller.
