ACCIDENT NEAR WHANGAROA (Special to THE SUN. ) MR. JULIAN SHEPPARD, of Ivaeo, is dead as a result of injuries received when the motor-car lie was drivingl went over a bank into the Whan gar oa Ilarbonr. Other passengers were injured.

WHANGAROA, To-day. On Monday evening a car driven by Mr. Julian Sheppard, of Kaeo, in passing a lorry near Whangaroa, went over a bank into the harbour. Among the passengers in the ear was a woman doctor, acting as locum

tenems at Whangaroa. Although badly hurt she attended to the ir juries of the others till other medical a d was available. Mr. Sheppard was very seriously injured and died in Whangaroa Hospital yesterday morning. He was to have been married next month.
