CHARMING “TREE" LAMP
The candles and candlesticks that have had such a good innings for table lighting will have to look to their laurels, for some of the new electric table lamps are charming. One example is made to resemble a miniature tree in full bloom, both flowers and leaves being made of shells coloured gaily in laquer red, coral pink, orange or yellow, with brilliantly glazed green shell laves. They are “planted” in a rustic wood “pot” of plaited twigs, through which the flex passes to a plug. The whole effect is like a fruit tree in full bloom with a strong sun shining on it.
