Damage by Gale. —The heavy gale last week-end uprooted trees, blew the tops off haystacks and disconnected the *&ctric services at Cambridge.
Man’s Ribs Broken.—While loading coal at Taihape, a young man named Herbert Derbidge had five ribs fractured through being struck by a heavy bia.
A* Apprentice Killed. —A youth n -med Ronald Tetzlaff, aged 17 years, a Plumber’s apprentice, fell from a in Hamilton yesterday. He fell ->-ft and was taken to the hospital with a fractured skull. He died within a * ew hours.
