Troup. _ WANGANUI’S NEW TUG Following is a complete description of the twin-screw tug Kahanui, by the Dublin Dockyard Comp*»(proprietors, Messrs. Vickers, Ireik Ltd.), to the order of the Wanga Harbour Board: Length 110 ft., b J® a r 24ft., depth 12ft., draught (loaded) w* ward 9ft., aft lift.; gross tonnage net tonnage 70, total i.h.p. 800, w ing speed 11*. * The hull is divided into five corop»J‘ ments by four watertight tending to the main deck, the engi boilers, and coal bunkers carrying middle compartment. The coal ers have a capacity of SO * arranged between the engine boiler rooms, with wing extension* the side of the latter. Double-bottom tanks are axjBBB under the engine-room and unt y fffie r officers’ quarters forward, the to having a capacity of 15i tons ol water and the latter of 8 tons Jr /,, r . water for domestic purposes.
