OLD MAN’S DEATH

STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR Press Association GISBORNE, Monday. Frank McCarten, aged 74, was crossing the street on Thursday night when he was knocked down by a motor-car, which was proceeding slowly at the time. Mr. McCarten was admitted to the hospital, where he died to-night. The deceased had a brother residing in Onehunga.
