MAJESTIC

“SUMMER BACHELORS” Do husbands play while wives are away? Warner Fabian, in his latest novel, “Summer Bachelors,” says they do. And Allan Dwan, who directed this fine satire of the weaknesses of modern husbands in Fox Films, drives the answer .home in one of the most sensational photo-dramas of the season. “Summer Bachelors,” now delighting audiences at the Majestic, features Madge Bellamy in the stellar role as a girl who is willing to help married men while away for summer, and Allan Dwan shows the eagerness with which husbands respond to the lure of a pretty face and trim ankles. The fat and the lean, the jurist ard the business man, are shown to be equally frail when they have no wives home to whom to account for their nights out. This is a highly amusing film, for the shafts aimed at unlucky benedicts are tipped with humour.
